The most common problem in pool
maintenance are tiny microscopic plants called
algae. These are the little organisms that give
your pool water that horrible cloudy look. They
are also largely responsible for making your pool
filter work less efficiently due to clogging.
These annoying plants are mainly
found in those places that are most difficult
to reach in your pool or in areas where the water
doesn't circulate well. It is most imperative
to protect your pool from algae when the water
temperature rises. As with most things preventative
action is far less costly and time consuming than
reactive action so make sure you have a good maintenance
program.
Unfortunately the best laid plans

BioGuard
MSA II is a concentrated copper-based
algaecide that works fast on all types of

BioGuard
Polygard is a non foaming algaecide
(sometimes referred to as a polyquat that
is excellent for use in pools with attached

Starver
removes phosphates from water. Phosphate
is a fertiliser for algae and is found in
most outdoor pools. This product helps to
